Germ (Flack) is a non-binary artist and tattooer previously based in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia, currently in Brighton, UK. They have been tattooing since 2014.

Their tattoo practice is devoted to helping clients access the healing and transformative power that is possible within tattooing. As a fat, trans and neurodivergent tattooer they are dedicated to making a comfortable and celebratory space for queer, fat, disabled and marginalised people to get tattooed.

Their work is full of colour and joy, and is inspired the weirdness of nature, memes, zines, folk art and folklore, and queer, underground and outsider culture.

Germ is originally from Worthing (near Brighton) in the UK, lived on Wurundjeri land in Naarm / Melbourne from 2007 - 2026, and is currently living in the UK.
After studying Illustration in Worthing and Animation at RMIT Melbourne, they made work as a painter and zinemaker, and moved towards a tattoo practice in 2014. They were a resident artist at Crucible Tattoo Co from 2018 to 2026, and will be back as soon as they can be!
